Currently watching the game featuring the two teams furthest apart in a world dometic league. Perth Glory v Wellington Phoenix in the A League. The Nix currently top of the A League.
 
To be pedantic, they are from different countries. Surely a domestic derby should be from cl;ubs in same division.

Aren't there any good west v east Russian games? Or even Alaska v Hawaii in MLS?

They would be good ones for the away season ticket holders to prove their mettle

surely hawaii v east coast american team would be further than alaska

To be pedantic in return there are no MLS teams in either Hawaii or Alaska and the furtherst a Russian team has to travel to play a Russian PL fixture is 2,500 miles. Tomsk to St Peterberg. distance between Wellington and Perth is 3300 miles.
