For me our best home shirt came in 2010-2011
great quality shirt the added bonus of not having a sponsor
but all the elements of what a boro kit should have.
1986-1987 is iconic and the 2018-2019 did a good job of recreating that
the button down collar gets the nod for the best home shirt in our history.

2010/11 looks quite good but it felt horrible. Don't know what they did that year. The material was thin and flimsy and the band was stitched in so it quickly started folding in on itself. Felt horrible to wear but still far better than the big plastic stick ons of the Ramsdens sponsors.

I really liked the 18/19 Hummel shirt and the one we had in the PL I hated at first but I grew to like. The ones we had in Europe also hold great memories.

Great playing Stuttgart in the UEFA cup white band / red and reversed. Still like he proper traditional inter Milan away but I'd settle for the white with a red stripe

My favourite kits are the diagonal stripe in 2014/15, and the Dickens kits from 1986-88.

Wasn’t there a mini Boro shop in Dickens on Portrack Lane for a while in the early 90’s?

There was indeed a small Boro shop in Dickens during the 94-95 season when they were kit sponsors. I think I might have bought the green away shirt in there.

I have to say I hated the sash on the shirt when we were in the Prem. I'm usually okay with all of the strips over the years, but that was just hideous IMHO!

Boro used to say that when they sold shirts with white chest band 2 seasons in a row that sales dropped massively the 2nd season.
