The Britt question on Monday

It's not a choice we have really. He has to start.

Nmecha is a bag of complete sh!te....sorry if I'm offending sh!te.
Fletcher looks injured and set to miss a few weeks.
Gestede - the less said the better.

I'm worried about Britt because every time he's faced Forest, he's failed big time...and it definitely plays on his mind. The away game a couple of seasons ago at Forest showed.

Reason for Gestede is , with width I would just go for a basic plan of getting it wide too the 2 quick lads and get crosses in the box for Gestede and Britt to feed off. I reckon it’s worth a go considering we have tried everything else recently. Don’t expect to see anything like that team though.

I could live with Morrison playing off Britt. Maybe start like that and bring Gestede on later on. Would rather bring him on than Nmecha. He’s absolutely terrible.
 
Yes. Alongside Fletcher and put a youthful, attacking midfield out, with Howson as a holding mid. It's the only way we can win.
 
Woodgate refused to rule out both Friend & Fletcher but both have hamstring niggles, so I can't see either being in the squad. It's just not worth it with hamstrings.

Don’t get me wrong it’s hardly Heskey and Owen its more like Donkey and Shrek but it could Potentially cause a few problems if we get balls in the box. I would only play them 2 if it’s Coulson and Spence out wide

That goes without saying. But we do need to put a team out with what we have available. I just think our best bet is feeding the wingers and putting crosses in, Roberts is a huge miss and looked head and shoulders above anything we currently have. I see the argument for playing Ravel aswell as he’s got great technique but only if he stayed close to a striker and not drop too deep.
 
Now I’ll admit I’m not Rudi’s biggest fan but he is effective as a late game sub as he makes defenders think differently and he does get the odd knock downs.
 
I wouldn't let Britt near the team. I think he wants to he is leave at the end of the season and us being in the lower division will help him get out.

I’d agree normally but he’s better than Gestede and Nmecha neither of them will be here next season, and with Fletcher being injured they reckon what other option have we got? I’d start both Britt and Gestede but if he only goes with 1 it has to be Britt for this one surely?
 
Britt in for Fletcher and Johnson for Friend, no point playing players half fit. Only other change would be to try and accomodate Morrisson as attacking Midfielder in place of Wing. Same shape as v Leeds. Let's not overcomplicate it
