Whether there’s truth in it or not, I’d be embarrassed to be a journalist from whichever paper published it asking a question in Qatar of Gareth Southgate on their all-expenses-paid, access all areas press junket.

wouldn't really give them much credability if they just ignored it but everyone knew that was the crack, that would be far more weird.

No way is there any truth in this story.

You wouldn't have the FA and Arsenal sending him best wishes and asking for his privacy to be respected if he had been sent home because of a bust up.

Add on to that players close to him such as Rob Holding and other team mates posting pictures on social media of him with love hearts and praying hands etc.

Its just a pathetic attempt by the gutter press in this country to try and pressure him into coming out and saying what the real issue is so that they can run clickbait articles on that instead.
