The Bear Season 2

"Feel like you have to fight your way through it"

Good description.

I thought 'Forks' in particulsr was a brilliant episode. No.7 I think it was.
genuinely at one point shot up and left the room.

Thought about the last episode a lot last night & not sure I want a S3 as I don’t see how the writers could match S2.

It's a funny programme for me, because I can recognise that it's really well made television, but I don't think I actually enjoy watching it.

I just feel stressed.

The Christmas episode especially, tension throughout, clearly superbly done, but I wasn't enjoying that feeling.

You're right about the stress. I think it must be intentional to get across the atmosphere of working in that kitchen.
I can't believe how nervous I was waiting to see if that balloon would inflate.
Very clever TV.

I also enjoyed 'Burnt' with Bradley Cooper.

It is a great series - the whole of the season is just much slower than the first and has some immaculate episodes. The stage episode in Copenhagen with Will Poulter was brilliant but Forks is the best episode of the lot. When Richie gets it - the character development is brilliant.

Just finished series 1 and will start series 2 tomorrow. Can we please be careful regarding spoilers on this thread.

Cheers folks.

I don't think there are any spoilers here (yet).
But I always think it's a bit dangerous to open a thread about a streamed show you are yet to watch. Someone might start discussing a specific incident. (I hope the balloon reference didn't give anything away).
