Chelsea are overrated. They have spent vast sums of money on the team but they have no top striker. They have paid £100M each for two defensive midfielders who were outshone by Howson and Barlaser. One of them went off. We could even afford to put our best midfielder Hackney further forward. Their best striker over the years was Lukaku. They bought him for £10M at 18 year old, scored 0 goals, loaned him to WBA, scored 17 goals in 35 games, went to Everton for £28M, scored 53 goals in 110 games, scored loads of goals at ManU and Inter Milan so Chelsea bought him back for nearly £100M! Now he has been loaned back to Inter Milan and Roma. If they had spent the money on Harry Kane or Erling Haaland they would have won loads. A crackpot club who deserve all they get. About time we sorted them out. 👍

It’s one game.. very unlikely.. but nothing is impossible.

Chelsea is a horrible club.. horrible fans too.. wouldn’t want to play for them if I was a player.
 
went to the play offs game and hated them with a passion ever since and the zenith was just season 2 really. We are half way there , should have stronger squad to choose from in 2 weeks so looking confident
 
Part of me feels we missed an opportunity to kill the tie off last night because Chelsea just didn’t seem interested in playing us but the moment the two injuries happened I was more than happy with a 1– 0 win. I think we need to keep it tight the first 10/15 minutes at the Bridge and their fans will get frustrated.

Underestimate Chelsea at your peril. They are still a good team with a top manager who will have them fired up for the second leg.

This cup competition could also be their only realistic chance of qualifying for Europe this season and that will bring added pressure for them.

It is going to be the spirit of Rorke’s Drift we are going to need.
