I see Mayor Preston is encouraging us all to walk down the Avenue of Trees rather than wanting to open our parks as instructed by Government.


Why would he do this?

Anyone with a little bit of sense can see that this is nonsensical.


If it's safe to walk down the avenue then why isn't it safe to open the parks?

Probably posting "Do you remember Astro bars" tweets on Twitter if his past behavior is anything to go by.

He believed Middlesbrough was a city on Twitter last week, so I wouldn't put too much weight on what he has to say on anything.

I saw him on the news where he said he knew more about local parks than than the national interviewer. Perhaps he meant that a person would be safer staying out of Albert Park.

There is a good chance the national interviewer lives closer to our local parks than Mr Preston does.
