It's really sad. My guess is the baby died and they gave it what they thought would be a humane burial in the woods somewhere. They obviously don't want to be a part of society, so they don't want anybody to find it.

I think that will be what they'll try & coordinate between them..

I'm sure they'll have asked them what happened to the baby prior to them finding the body, interesting to know what they said..

The issue was the welfare of the baby, that apparently was born on the back seat of a car.

Me and the wife were talking about this last night. As parents I can't begin to imagine the anguish and pain the police officers who found the baby's body must be going through right now. Anyone with the strongest of stomaches must surely still be affected by that. Grim.
