• 27 new deaths within 28 days of a positive test reported in 24-hour period, unchanged from 27 yesterday
• 7-day average for new deaths within 28 days of a positive test increases by 15.9% to 19 per day, following 21.6% increase yesterday (and 6th increase in the past 7 days)

Deaths were 5 and 2 for last two Sundays, so much higher.

Cases seem to be relatively unaffected by weekends, so high numbers continue with about 15% more than last Sunday.

After three lower days on Teesside, the last two days are the highest reported since the epidemic began (testing would have been lower earlier on though).
