As of 5pm on 1 July, of those tested positive for coronavirus, across all settings, 43,995 have died.

0.2% increase in positive tests. 186 Pillar 1. 89 deaths announced today.

• 89 new deaths in all settings reported in 24-hour period, down from 176 yesterday

Morning Billy, not sure the 7 day average for deaths has increased given this is a lower figure than the same day last week.

I think it's to do with the mass adding of death data on Wednesday which had adjusted the average.
 
38 English hospital deaths reported. 17 of
which occured more than 7 days ago.

Also no new cases in the Hambleton local authority in the past 7 days along with Hartlepool. This includes the old pillar 2.

No it wasn't on any of the lists and infection rates on Teesside are very low.
There's not going to be many travelling from Leicester to Nottingham for a pint is there? How do they get there and back for a start? So I reckon the numbers out and about in Leicester will be very reduced. I'm not saying the lockdown is good/bad.

Can you put the 7 day average figure in your report? It's not the easiest figure to find now the daily press conference graphs have disappeared.
