The 7-day average for new hospital infections (Pillar 1) has been up and down over the past few days. My impression is that the numbers are plateauing, which is highlighted by the fact that the average when compared to one week ago is just 4.3% lower (the lowest weekly decrease since the peak).

James Cleverley lied on BBC QT last night “We now have a testing system which tests..on a daily basis hundreds of thousands of people”

The number of PEOPLE tested hasn’t been disclosed for 4 weeks and we can guess why. The lies just get bigger.

I think it's because they started getting hammered for reporting tests posted out in the mail as tests completed. If you go on the website I think you can still see the # of tests done in hospitals.

..... with 175,018 tests on 20 June..

Of which 85,788 weren't actually tests undertaken but just test kits that were put in the post and will get counted again if the kit's returned and tested. Another 20426 were antibody tests to see if ppl had had covid-19 and 4,960 were tests for research purposes. So actual tests for covid-19 were about 64000....and we still don't know how many people tested. This must be so low it's dynamite as it's not been available for over a month

yes the last figure for tha for 20th was 18,913 tested ie not 'hundreds of thousands'
