I've just heard that the United States have vaccinated 350 million Americans. That's great news for them.

165 million fully vaccinated in USA, with a further 28 million on one dose.

The UK has the seventh highest fully vaccinated population in Europe.
Hold the phone. We are world leading? And we are certainly better than the EU? So how can six European nations be higher? I blame Belarus

The USA could be in bother, they have rocketing cases, especially in the less vaxed states and I'm sure I read that 1/3 over 60's aren't vaccinated, which will probably be even higher in the states that are going to struggle.

They're already at 750 deaths per day, which is lagging their rising cases by 10-20 days, and their cases could still double or triple yet. They will be less cautious than us and they're less vaxed.

Cases creeping up again 😟

Cases will grow now the football has started in earnest. My general perspective (not scientific, more gut reaction) is that we’re slightly ahead of the virus in the overall war. No disrespect to anyone who has suffered loss or damage from it
