I empathise with them but they were not evicted. They were refused readmission and are in alternative accommodation.

To play devils advocate, it wasn't actually McDonalds but The Ronald McDonald House charity - not sure they're necessarily the same thing.

Did you read the article. They've been there a year because they are homeless. There are people in such vulnerable situations because they can't get a house. Because houses are too expensive. It shouldn't be the responsibility of Ronald McDonald to provide people with housing.
