That was incredible.

In a league game it’s impressive but in the away leg of a play off. Wow.

I honestly didn’t think we had that kind of performance at the back in us esp without fry but it’s advantage boro now.

It was indeed a good performance. I think that the second leg is going to be tight as well.
It doesn’t make any difference , but the way we and Sunderland played we are closer to Premiership standard than the long ball stuff from Coventry and Luton.

To be fair we had 2 great chances and one marginal offside so could have scored 3.

Everything we did today was for a reason. No way we could win the semi final today but what we’ve done is put us in a position for Wednesday where we can play our normal game at home .. and that usually goes pretty well

Today was about not losing the tie.

I said before kickoff I’d have taken 1-0 either way so to be going into the game with no goals in it is brilliant.

Thought we looked calm and collected today. On another day Jones offside decision goes our way and that ball goes in off the post and we win 0-2. But I thought before kick off a draw would be a good result and here we are. Everything to play for at the riverside with our good home form infront of a sell out crowd.

I thought Coventry were there for the taking if we’d gone for it a bit more. Archer had a very quiet game mind, which he sometimes does, then he plays a blinder next game to make up for it - let’s hope he smashes them on Wednesday

Their pitch seemed to be rapid today. Nothing seemed to hold up on the bounce. It made playing those longer through balls over the top very difficult.

A number of times cross field balls also bounced over the heads of players. Did they water much beforehand, I wonder?

I agree about archer but I have a different take on it as yes he was quiet but his constant running kept Coventry’s defence honest as they had to stay with him at all times.
