That muppet Martin on the radio

The move for our first goal was a thing of beauty,not bad for a team with a tactically inept manager.I remember at home to Blackpool last season watching us punting long balls into their half hoping to win it back high up the pitch.I have never been as bored watching us under Wilder as I was that day.
 
I could not believe Maddo invited him to come on every week.

The guy can’t be for real, I thought he was playing a bit of a game and Maddo and the host were suckered in, personally thought it was poor form giving airtime to ‘a made up character’
 
Don't think I've listened to any "football phone-ins" since the 3 Legends. I did have the displeasure of listening to a few minutes of 606 a few months back and it was just full of woe is me Man Utd fans.

Probably think theyll get mire fans tuned in after the game, even more fans phoning in on the back of his call, could be all kidology

Aye, could be a ploy to get people phoning in to up caller and listener figures, it wont be the first time a media outlet has done it, you never know

I think he's for real, but i don't believe he knows what he's talking about in any way. Too many sweeping generic negative statements with no detail or demonstration of any real knowledge.
Bad form to invite him on i agree, nobody wants to listen to that nonsense on their way home

I must admit that I rarely tolerate the post match phone in nowadays. Numpty Central.

In fact, generally, I ignore or avoid any radio phone in, it seems that the format encourages controversial idiots in order to generate debate/argument. Rarely any insight or even a point where you think "I didn't think about it in that way perhaps I need to reconsider" just a succession of post operative brain donors that make you want to put your foot through the radio.
 
Although to play “Devil’s Advocate”, it’s amazing how many people on here love their stats until it’s pointed out to them that’s Boro’s record over the last 15 or so matches.

That was certainly the case, they couldn't wait for him to come on and be controversial, then treat him with disrespect.
 
I agreed with his point on transfers and all the loans. The people we are told are coming probably wont come. I.e larssom, greaves, armstrong etc

But who told you they 'are coming'? Not the club, not Wilder, in fact, no one remotely connected to the club. People honestly need to grow up and stop listening to gossip. We all get excited over rumours but dear god. Honestly, Sky have turned people into lunatics with their over the top, Jim White, yellow tie, 'we understand' rubbish.
 
Could be related to this absolute whopper hammering Gibson. After taking a quote out of context having failed to listen to the actual interview 🤦‍♂️
