That goal we just conceded was awful

Still confident we'll win but that was shocking haha, Giles missing his header, steffen not getting enough on it. Rare we have a comedy of errors leading to a goal
Hopefully that wakes the lads up, we'd laid off a little since we scored.
Come on Boro

Sunday League defending by Giles.

And your right, Steffen could have done better

Giles didn't have a clue where his man was. harsh on Steffen, not much he can do in that situation except make himself bigger and hope Hoever fluffs his lines
He could close his legs for starters all the pundits on sky were critical of steffan saying it was a soft goal

When do you ever see a keeper close down the attacker in a one-on-one situation with his legs closed? Keepers are taught to make themselves as big as possible; if the striker's good enough to put it through your legs then so be it.

Steffen made some crucial saves for example the point blank header near the end of the game which 9/10 ends up in the back of the net. not sure how you can you refer to him as a 'F***ing useless clown' 🤔

Ok why did both pundits say he was at fault at half time. Did they just make it up

The majority of the time Steffen is an excellent keeper, the problem is keeper's are remembered for their mistakes and unfortunately Steffens blooper video is on longer than Ben Hur

Also he came out to punch, he missed it, nearly took out the defender but luckily there was no Stoke player to take advantage.
