Thai curry v Indian curry

Whilst I favour Thai, I have to agree that the condiments and accompaniments with Indians are much better - poppadoms and the trimmings, sag paneer, lime pickle, all big winners (y)

Been to loads of Thai Indian restraunts and these are chefs from India and cook as it would be in India and never had a meal to get anywhere near the Indian on the A66 Akbar , The Indians here (Thailand) lack any onion as a base and the meat is boned ....Not nice

They are different ethnic meals so it's not curry vs curry but Thai vs Indian. And it depends on whether you have them in the UK or other countries. In India you often have Indian and Chinese menus in the same restaurant. Indian Chinese food (yum) is as different to Chinese Chinese food (yum) as UK Chinese food (sometimes OK) to Chinese Chinese food.

4 times out of 5 I'd go for Indian with Thai for a change.

Indian of choice: lamb madrass, mushroom pillau, garlic nann. Chicken or prawn chat as starter if feeling mega hungry.

Thai of choice: duck red curry with Jasmin rice. Thai spring rolls as a starter.

I'm hungry now.

Indian over a Thai for me certainly here in the UK anyway Thai is too watery and has way too much coconut in it.
