TBH, I think the Championship is normal.
It's only when compared to the bland predictability of the PL that it looks crazy.

It really is.
I'd still love us to get out of it, but it's far more enjoyable than the Premier League on a match by match basis.
Never know who is going to be the team to beat or who is going to be *****.
Look at Luton, I'd have had them pegged for relegation and they're 6 points off the top.

Yep and I love this midweek rounds. Gives you something to look forward to during the week. It’s just a fantastic league where anyone can beat anyone and there is some fantastic games. I too want to get out of it but totally agree with what your saying.

I enjoy the CShip. Mainly because we have a chance of winning any game. As opposed to being battered in the PL with the outside chance of sneaking a result.
The plan has to be get to the PL. Take the money. Take the inevitable relegation. No investment in the odd mercenary.
Us the money to build a good CShip team that could survive in the PL.
Sad to say the current squad would not survive more than season in the PL.
May take a few yoyo promotion / relegations to achieve. But Burnley have done it this way. We can do even better than Burnley
If it weren't for the fact that we need the money to survive, id happily stay in the championship for ever. I hate the premier League and every thing it stands for. I hate the over paid players, I hate the fact the most teams are just happy to survive, i hate the fact that we will never come close to winning it, I hate the fact that fans would rather just survive then win the FA cup, I hate sky TV, i hate var. I like being able to win more games than we lose in the championship, I like the fact more than three teams have a chance to win the league.

Its the new normal. Might not always be this way. Brexit may have an impact on the PL getting all the best European players.

The PL has destroyed the notion of sporting glory and without that you have a business. You may as well watch the stock exchange on ceefax on a Saturday and cheer your favourite stock.
The championship offers a fairly level playing field and the ups and downs of not really knowing how each game will pan out. It offers the gruelling very real challenge of 2 games a week.
If you win the championship you deserve it, if you win the PL you bought it.

Promotions are fun, and the PL means loads of money. Those are pretty much the main two reasons to go up IMO. I actually prefer the Championship.
