Wonder why morsy didn't walk straight in, offers more than Howson (he's dependable but doesn't actually do anything) and probably saville (who is growing on me slowly)

It’ll take a while for the team to become settled as players integrate etc. I’m expecting a slow start to the season but but expect us to pick up and get better as the season goes along. Think we will be at our best after Christmas.

Think we'll be ok today; got to start quickly and get the ball to Spence in forward areas; forwards can't live off scraps we need the midfield to take more risks with and without the ball not looking sideways; difficult when lacking confidence.

Concerned that we are so nervous and tentative at home - don't seem to have got those awful post-Covid games out of our system yet.
A big brutal team like Cardiff would steam through us at the moment.
Hoping for the best but I'd make Bournemouth strong favourites.
Saying that I'd rather we faced Solanke than wilson

The big Barnsley Nutter Mick McCarthy described Forest's weak defence today as 'Milky',
I'd say that definitely has applied to us recently. Hopefully this is about to change mind.

Hang on, is that Djed & Marvin wingbacks, Dijksteel as a CB? Or 4-4-2 with Marvin and Tav wide?

Or is Kevin Blackwell some sort of Pep-style genius who's about to revolutionise football by playing two right backs in the same team.

Offers more than Howson? Howsons been brilliant for us imo.

I actually thought he had a good game yesterday but I think he has been quite ineffective since moving back to midfield. I noticed he played a lot of the game covering for either McNair or Dijksteel yesterday when they went forward and he did an excellent job doing so.
