Team vs Hull

Would probably go with that as well, bar maybe starting Crooks over McGree.

I know he's struggled of late but he's got a great connection with Jones when it comes to interplay.

I just think he could do with a game out. I would bring him in again next week against Bournemouth regardless. I think a game on the bench won’t do him any harm. If he does play hopefully he has a cracking game and gets a goal which is something he always can give you
 
Why McGree ahead of Crooks? He’s all left peg and wouldn’t give us balance in the midfield three. I see him as cover for Tav. We also need Crooks height. Team Boro Mart picked seems the obvious one.

Cos Crooks needs a break for me. Tav can play on the right of a midfield 3 no problem even though he’s left footed. He can play right wing back so it’s an easy position for him to play. McGree has looked really good every time we have seen him and seems the perfect game for him to come in. Boromarts team is the team we will probably see but I think Wilder was disappointed with Crooks in a way last night.
 
Will need a team able to break them down as they will likely come to defend. Huddersfield only beat them 1-0 and that was with them down to 10 men

Definetly and I think McGree brings that ability aswell as a touch of calmness and the ability to pass forward. Can see him linking well with Balogun and Bola on the left side of our attack.
 
Maybe cos Crooks has been awful for past few games.
People saying he was poor last night because Jones wasn’t playing but in my opinion Jones has struggled of late because of the poor form of Crooks.
McGree to start and Crooks on bench on Saturday please, hopefully short break re-energises Crooks back to best form for run in.
 
Bola / Jones / Connally and Balogun back in. I'd also maybe consider Mcgree for Crooks.

I think Crooks maybe on the naughty step for his challenge that brought about the free kick. He was hooked straight after.

I really hope Jones is nothing serious that we are keeping under wraps.
 
Matches thick and fast at the business end of a long season.
Quickly into a big Easter weekend of tough matches.

The midfield is what has been under most pressure to perform match after match given Payero's injuries and McGree too.
If Jones is fit, then I might rest Tav and bring in McGree against Hull.
For Bournemouth bring Tav back in again and rest Crooks, retaining McGree.
Then have a choice to make for the Huddersfield match.

Rotation of striking pairs over this next three matches would also help.

I'd have Bola back as permanent fixture to season end now to give that crucial balance with Jones.

I stress I'd only rest Tav for this match, but on the bench.
 
I wouldn‘t leave out Crooks until his bookings make it compulsory again. He’s one of the main reasons Boro competes and he wasn’t responsible for last night’s defeat.

He was partly responsible. He gave away a stupid foul and they scored from the free kick and his overall performance was a tad off. I won’t be disappointed to see him start as I think he’s a top player for us but think he could do with a game off
 
I rate McGree from what I've seen so far, so I wouldn't be disappointed to see him in the starting line-up on Saturday.

I think we could well risk Crooks getting booked against Bournemouth and Huddersfield.
Two huge matches that you'd accept a valuable yellow in and the run in he's be missing is more forgiving.
 
Best team he could pick probably, but I'd worry about a left footed CMer playing at RWB vs their best player in Lewis-Potter
