Team vs Barnsley

Pears is clearly leaving. Stronger team than I was expecting, but still think it is more for game time and squad management more than anything

Yeah, the 3 behind fletcher could work aswell and interchange. Happy with it. Should be an interesting watch and excited to see Morsy

Woodrow on bench for Barnsley. Not sure if that means it’s him we are close to signing or not.

4231, good to see, my personal fave formation. Not sure we have the strikers or FBs to play it regularly though.

What that line up tells me is that:

a) he doesn't fancy Pears or Stojanovic
b) Dijksteel is his number one right sided defender, in a 3 or 4.
c) Fry still has a future here
d) Browne, Tav and Coulson are all fighting for probably 2 spots in the squad
e) he's seen something in Folarin he likes on the bench again

As regards keepers Warnock said at the press conference that both Dejan and Ashley Pears were ill at the weekend and still ill yesterday.
Bola he said had really impressed him this pre-season so is clearly someone that could force his way into the reckoning.
Lewis Wing needs to show exactly what he can do, tonight, I think his performance could directly impact on which areas of the team Warnock seeks to strengthen.
He wants to see Browne, again he impressed enough for us to block possible moves for him. Once again he could influence the direction of Warnock's transfer priorities. It will be interesting to see exactly the role he takes up.
Coulson - he said is finally recovered from his virus - that is what has held him back. Fry needs minutes in his legs pots quarantine - this will enable him to catch up.
Warnock said several players need the full 90 minutes.

Side looks alright... Even with 7 changes. It's still competitive👍

Warnock is having us away with a weak side. A big night for Wing / coulson / Browne. Also hope Fletcher don't get crocked.

I take it Walker is crocked? No forwards yet not on bench for both matches.
