True. I doubt there's many people left who would put Barlaser in.
Thomas has shown to be no better than Engel.
Silvera is an option instead of Greenwood.

I guess the shape could change.

Go to a back 4 with Ayling RB.

And a front 4

It's probably him or Silvera.
Unless Hackney is back then he could potentially play O'Brien in a more advanced role.

It doesn't sound like there's any chance of Hackney starting though. I suppose he could put Barlaser in the middle and push O'Brien forward
 
I imagine the team travels down tomorrow, so those returning from intl duty won't have arrived until today or Thursday, he might stick with the people who have been doing training this week, I hope not I like Glover but feel Dieng is class.

Glover has been away with Australia too.

So there's no reason for Dieng not to start.
 
I didn't realise that, I had a look at their forum and they have been fretting about their players on intl duty but we might have had more away.

As usual, he doesn't confirm any individual is definitely out but reading between the lines, they all could be out.

It sounded pretty certain McGree and Forss are out.

When asked if the players who were out are back, he made a general comment that some had returned to training but aren't quite ready yet.

He didn't mention any individual names with those players (Fry, VDB, Hackney or Coburn) so the assumption is none of them are back. But we have heard similar comments before then players have returned....

Why? Not saying he won't be, but has anything been said that indicates he's ahead of the others 'back in training'

If Hackney IS available to start he should be straight in for O'Brien
 
Agree that the team almost picks itself because of who is available.

With no McGree, Hackney or Forss - we are left looking to the hopefully fit again Jones to provide a bit of pace & creativity.

Please no more injuries - I think we would be in or around the playoffs if we had not had quite so many key players out for prolonged periods.
