Team Sky

I watch the new golden boy Van de Poel & see cancellara type of bursts away from peletons years ago , figures he achieves are off the scale , Van aert the same , like i said ,love it, but its the same old , just moved on , has happened far too often for it to be merely co-incidence , another generation , another set of issues !!!!!

Was speaking to a ex pro this morning who said its all over again , all that changes is the names & chemicals , he admits he did it twice ....struggled to cope with what he had done ....then went into coaching to try & keep some away from it , but admits its very hard to do so at the top level !!

Once again the silence from others is deafening , omerta still rules sadly

Lots of cycling lovers on here ..where are Pierre etc who may have a non Uk outlook on it & see it from another side

Lost his appeal too
Much more to come on this, I reckon esp as he now has to go through the anti doping investigation.

The Guardian arguably, have made their position clear referring to Team Sky’s ’medal production factory’

If it is as widespread as people fear then hundreds of people would have to be in on it across the sport and across teams. All it would take is one or two whistleblowers and the sport’s credibility would be in ruins.
You ever heard the phrase "spitting in the soup"? Blow a whistle and you'll never work in the sport again, look at how say Bassons or Emma O'Reilly were treated when then spoke up.

Drug taking has been rife in cycling for as long as I can remember so this doesn’t come as any surprise.

The Tour De France went 110 years before a British rider won it then 6 of the next 7 TDF were won by a Brit and Team Sky.

I'm not sure we can. Pogacar steaming up the Planche des Belles Filles was staggering and...unbelievable. Literally. You just have to watch everything with a caveat.

I thought exactly the same thing - it was subhuman. His stamina throughout the latter stages of the whole race were staggering.
