Team for Tuesday

Howson isn't going to last until game 37 without another yellow, so I'd be happy for him to take a cheap one at the end of the Stoke game. He'll then miss Preston and Huddersfield. Probably games where Barlaser can slot in
I thought Stoke was the last game he needs to avoid a yellow?? @TeaCider will confirm he’s good at stuff like this

Drop McGree or Ramsey crazy talk
I’m not suggesting dropping them, there’s a difference. McGree looked leggy imo and was would ge the most likely to be rested along with the cm pairing.

Where possible id keep the same team, but the thread is about what we think might happen.

I think McGree's craft is essential for the way it allows us to play. Time slows down when he gets it under his spell. That allows the guys with the movement to spring. Cam and Ramsey etc.

Happy to take him off when its 3 zip 😀

Same team for me.

Barlaser hasn't really impressed me that much when he's played. I'm not worried in the slightest, because it's still early days but for now I feel we need to stick with Howson and Hackney wherever possible.

It's inevitable Howson will get that 2nd yellow before the end of the season, so might as well just keep playing him until it happens.

I’m of the same opinion as you, still early and he’s settling of course and hope he can eventually be a first teamer one day but from what I’ve seen so far Mowatt has impressed me off the bench more.

Hoping Crooks is back in the squad for the next two. I have a feeling he could prove invaluable from the bench.
Agree, I really feel like Stoke will give us a real game on Tuesday….and we’ll have to be at our best
Alex Neil is no mug tactically and Stoke have hit some form albeit they stuttered late on versus Blackburn when they looked to be cruising….which gave me hope!

Same team again for me. If there are changes I can see Barlaser for Howson and Djiksteel for Smith to avoid the potential for suspensions!
