Team for Sat-der

my guess is mcnair is fit and vdb plays right back
mcnair was being tortured (not by his back) and wanted off the pitch

If fit Hackney comes in for Barlaser
Fry or McNair comes in for Bangura and RVDB plays right back.

Like that side if the missing remain injured but for me Rogers for Silvera with Crooks on the right to provide cover for Bangura playing out of position would work best. Dont think Silvera will do that as well as Crooksy
Come on Boro

I agree that I think McNair will be fit...

But your other comment is nonsense. He's played over 300 professional games, inc. 90 minutes against Drogba and Lukaku, both when he was 19 years old.

He didn't "want off the pitch" against Georginio Rutter.

I feel we should be avoiding starting Silvera where possible. I worry that he could put in another horrorshow performance, like he did at Sheff Wed.

I'd limit him to sub appearances off the bench for now and then loan him out to a League One club in January.

RB Engel CD Rav CD Clarke
LB Bangura

Barlaser Howson

Greenwood Crooks Latte

Coburn

I put Coburn back in and hope that the players behind him can use his ball laying off skills. Greenwood and Engel would have an understanding but transferred to the right. Latte and Bangura would offer pace on the left side.
I think we can put out a descent team out, but we in trouble if players get injured.
Hopefully with this formation it would be tighter than just playing Latte up front, we can't be running in for tackles like we did 1st half against Leeds, they kept sidestepping the play and then were in behind us, at least force Ipswich to make a pass sidewards or backwards.

Please not Silvera. Things can never be that desperate.
