Team for Rotherham

It's impossible for us fans to decide given we have no real idea on the fitness status of Ramsey, McGree, Forss, Fry and McNair.

You'd like to protect Akpom and Archer, but they are fit and will want rhythm.
You'd like to protect Howson, but who plays at CB if you rest him now?
You'd like players returning from injury not to go straight in for play off clashes, but if they're not yet ready, what do you do?
There is a full week recovery between Luton and Rotherham and then Coventry and 5-6 days before the SF first leg. A game a week is ideal, rather than lay offs.

There is so much we can't see, but neither can our opponents.

I am so glad we have Carrick at the helm and will have confidence whatever he does.
We just played Luton off the pitch when he made so many changes and had so many injuries.
He does seem to know exactly what we need.

My one critiscism of Archer is that he's maybe a 70 minute player, he really drops out of games around that point. Maybe a weeks rest would be good for him.

I'm a bit concerned with our CB injuries that we have to play Jordan Huggill next FFS

I heard last week that we won’t see Fry again this season as he is really struggling with the injury from when Branthwaite kicked him in the face a couple of years ago. Apparently it’s not healing properly and is causing him problems.
 
Need to build some momentum, but I think Archer and Giles will get a rest in this one, then back to as close to full strength as possible for the final game.

Same but with Hackney on the left over Stott
 
I think it would be advisable to keep bola and crooks in given how rusty they were. Bola in particular got better as the Luton game went on and there’s a good chance we’ll need them for the playoffs

Would be happy with that. I said after we left the Luton match that I would play Muniz for Archer. That 10 minute spell was no good for him or us and we need to give him a full game in case we need him in the play offs.
