Team I think he'll pick.
Bettinelli
Dijksteel Fry McNair Bola
Howson Morsy Saville
Tav Britt Johnson

Would prefer to see Watmore in for either Morsy or Saville but he never seems to play him and Tav together and seems to like the 3 central midfielders in.
Think Watmore and Tav should always start give us some pace and energy.Toss up between Britt and Akpom equally ineffective.

I think that's more because they've tried to manage Watmore's fitness.
He and Tavernier have both started in 4 of Watmore's 9 games.
I think he would have started on Saturday if he wasn't recovering from Covid.

My team would be the same as Saturday's, bar Wing for Watmore and possibly Howson for Morsy.
 
Play Watmore and Howson - we looked better in the second half with them on.

Johnson is better when left sided midfield as he has more space and more of an attacker to play off.
 
Watmore is probably our most creative player and against Forest I’d start him and see how he fares energy wise — he just adds so much more up front when he starts — overstating the obvious I know. Hopefully we can’t pass the ball as badly as we did against Brum.
 
Feeling really deflated after the Brum game, thought we would win easily and challenge for the top six, very unsure now
 
Britt always has an absolute mare against forest. How many times has he gone through 1 on 1?.

Least they can't sing 'do do do sh*t Assombalonga' 😂

I actually was very supprised he didn't start against brum. He had his best game against them in the 1-4.

I would maybe go 3 CBs and Bola / Spence wingbacks. I think Watmore has to start if over covid. He showed more movement in 15 mins on sat that anyone else managed all game.
 
I think the OP’s team is what it will be. I think we have become a bit predictive though.

Nothing to lose game really, and it think it might be time to mix it up a bit, although I don’t think NW will.
 
Warnock has pretty much said that Britt and Watmore will be starting tomorrow. Wouldn't be surprised to see us go back to 4-4-2 tmorrow night.

Can easily switch that to a 4-3-3 or 3-5-2.
 
I think it’ll be Watmore for Johnson in the OP’s team but otherwise that. Be interesting to see what happens. I envisage a reaction to Saturday though. Forest are improving under Hughton so will be no mugs. unbeaten in 5 I think.

Watmore has to start for me. He's been in form since he arrived here and I genuinely believe that will continue as he will want to prove a point to not only himself but others too

He was due to start against Birmingham, but like Watmore was still not fully over covid according to Warnock
Mind you he's said 'I was going to play so and so' about a few team selections this season!
He tends to rotate up front , so I think the original poster might be close

Dont know what I'd pick, but hope Watmore starts
I also hope Hackney stays in the 20, and that Folarin and Jones are involved again soon
