Szilard Nemeth

A great player was Nemeth, as you say under appreciated.

the only time I get to use the term lizard now is describing my sister in law and her loose tongue!

Loved that Man Utd goal. He was a very useful squad player. He was one of those players who could glide past a couple of defenders without really looking like he had the ball under control.
Not sure why the club shop thought we'd be interested in his clothing range mind!

Skilful and surprisingly strong. The way he holds off the defender for the Man Utd goal was class.

I rated him higher than Maccarone and Job.
I'd agree his had more skill and a better poachers instinct than Maccarone, but it's hard to compare. Job actually managed to lead the line on his own for a period including the cup final, doing a surprisingly good job of it. Again I think they were quite different. I'd actually say Job was the best overall as he was pretty reliable at his role following his return from loan, the other two were more inconsistent

Job looked a superb target man until he fractured his skull , had a really good leap and those long legs, and pretty mobile, not really a natural goalscorer but as a line leading CF he looked great, but that head injury definitely reduced his effectiveness as a CF

A few points:
He was quicker than I remembered
He was here longer than I thought
He scored more goals than I thought
He looks like Trev off Trevor & Simon
