Massive game for the two today, live on BT Sport now. I live in Sutton and know lots of Sutton Utd supporters so would love to see them both promoted. Mixed feelings about the result today, maybe Hartlepool to win to move into third and them both to win their last game for Sutton to win the title and Hartlepool to get a home draw in the playoffs would be the ideal scenario.
 
Watching this game does drive home just how cack non-league football can be.
some of the touches are shocking. Pools were gash in the first half and barely strung more than two passes together.

3-0 with 10 mins to go.
Into the Football League for the first time in their 123 year history!!!!

I wonder how the neighbours in their cosy houses, will cope with footi fans by the coachload from Bolton, Bradford and Carlisle Utd?
Sutton Station will probably see a few more visitors. (y)

Yes I know.
But thats Wimbledon.
Bromley manage it and so do Aldershot and so do Eastleigh and Woking.
For the residents around the ground - it will be a brand new experience - crowds will be up and there may be increased demand for parking and improved facilities.
I hope they do well.

What happens with Pools next week? Their game was v Dover who have packed in? Stockport away to Yeovil, if they lose or draw will only be 1-2 ppoints ahead of Pools having played one game more. Is that how it finishes or do Pools have another game part or is table being amended for results v Dover? Genuinely no idea so hence the question. Doesn’t seem fair if Pooles Miss out on top 3 and home advantage cos Stockport had an extra game. Anyone know?
