City get sent to the championship for financial improprieties and go down due to financial incompetence. The Manchester derby survives.
If Carlsberg did football….

2 games to save his job apparently
The fun continues.
Sounds like a vote of confidence to me.

They're away at Porto and then at Villa on Sunday. If that's the case, he'll be gone by this time next week.2 games to save his job apparently
DefoThey're away at Porto and then at Villa on Sunday. If that's the case, he'll be gone by this time next week.
He'll still be in the job because they gave him a new contract after he won the FA Cup last season, it'll be costly to sack him.
By all accounts, they were definitely going to sack him before they surprisingly and deservedly beat Man City in the final.
And buy a bunch of “his” players - de Ligt and Mazraoui both ex-Ajax, plus Zirkzee. And that sums up the stupidity of Ratcliffe and Brailsford.
At best a bang average season, they were going to sack him but, because of a one off cup tie, they give him a new contract.

They have bought inferior players at inflated prices and Ten Hag has signed them off presumably. That said if they sack him now who do they get? He’s won two trophies for them and Southgate has no track record in domestic football other than his ill fated spell with ourselves. They are at least giving Ten Hag a chance. It's mad how some like Ten Haag keeps their job, yet others get sacked when they're doing well.
The only thing that possibly keeps him in his job is that his task is practically impossible mind. They've got too many players who are good in theory, but not in reality, and even less so when you put them all in the same side.
Who is buying these players? Literally every player they buy seems to have some major flaws, mostly with personality/ mentality.
