Suppose we sack wilder then what?

We currently play with fear, we’re predictable and slow at moving the ball out. Confidence plays such a role in this current predicament.

The most worrying for me is, I couldn’t have cared less about todays defeat. Total apathy

Yes I said the same I’m not angry anymore as I almost expect it now.

I think there’ll be action from Gibson soon - he’s not daft, everyone can see it’s not working, and although it’ll cost him to pay Wilder off it’ll be cheaper than going down

Wednesday is key another weak performance/defeat at home snd the crowd will turn. He won’t survive that.

Just find a manager who works out an attacking formation that suits the players that are available. Wilderball seems to be about thinking up tactics that the team doesn't understand and isn't capable of playing.

Sticking with Wilder is going to see Boro relegated.
This is it- the current manager plays to a system and the players have to slot into that system. A better manager would adapt the system to suit what we currently have not stick slavishly to a failing ideology

Having said that the recruitment has been gash so it’s not entirely his fault but he’s clearly not getting the best out of them

I don't think CW will take us down

However, I don't think he is taking us up either.

I had high hopes that we would kick on with CW after NW (I think NW would have continued progression and at least got us into the playoffs). I fully expected PROGRESS but that hasn't happened.

We need to be progressing. How long does it take for that to happen under CW and is that acceptable to the owner and the fans?

My fear is that we have been sussed and teams have enough info to know exactly how to play against us.
Wilder will not change his system bar tinkering with players, so we do not surprise teams. Cardiff first half is a classic example.....even if Wilder denied this completely......🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
Don't know how we come back from this tbh. Would 3 wins on the bounce paper over the cracks or show signs we are getty on track? But as we struggle to win one game on the trot......

I think the scenario playing out is the club got wind of wilders flirtatious behaviour towards other vacancies. Gibson is furious behind the scenes but the club can't afford or dont want to sack him and pay him millions in compensation. Wilder has since been told to find another club so we can get a pay out on him joining another team. The team meanwhile are in limbo and the atmosphere is festering. Times running out results are deteriorating and Gibson's left with no choice but to sack wilder and take the compo hit.

We could attempt to start a new trend of having no manager. Don't replace him and let the players figure things out amongst themselves.

Not sure if it's just me but

Sounds plausible - His team selection yesterday was baffling.

It certainly looks that way.
