Supporters Forum Meeting - Agenda Items Request

.This is what we are working towards in Middlesbrough - with myboromyshirt - following the lead of mycitymy shirt in Cardiff working with Middlesbrough Supporters Forum, Borderland Creative, Middlesbrough Football Club, MFC Foundation and Middlesbrough Council - to put Boro fans in the picture.
First phase - is getting as many fans posting their pictures as possible on social media. We will follow this up by getting a photographer to take 30 fans in their shirts against landmarks - and this will then be an exhibition that can tour.
Alongside that we are collecting in Boro anecodes as MyBoroMyStory - am working at present with senior Boro fans in different community groups. We are also putting together a fanzine working with some Middlesbrough people (and Boro fans) with learning disabilities.
Finally the hope is to have at least one mural in town but pictures linking the town to the club on the routes. The wall that has been pointed out in this thread could be ideal.
We are also going to do some little films of fans travelling to games.
Cardiff mycitymyshirt were responsible for both the murals pictured here - both iconic images now in Cardiff and that is exactly the kind of impact we are looking for but alongside that we will have an online gallery of photos and stories - we might publish that and the fanzine also.

Paint the Seqens wall with Boro murals

As per the other thread, can the club work with fans to create a home fixture each season to remember boro fans no longer with us? It'll sell tickets as five people a reason to go to that game, and it will end the constant flood of "clap in the 53rd minute because he got married in the 53'rd second of the minute"

As said in that thread, it's hit and miss if people are able to arrange these and get people clapping so it avoids people missing out, as well as giving everyone a regular memorial

You could do a minute's applause and maybe arrange for fans to send in pics of loved ones to be displayed on big screen. I have seen this at other clubs. It is very moving.

I think QPR did something similar at their first home game of this season, which happened to be Boro's first away game. I think it was a tribute to both fans and players who had died in the past season

Having to queue up to get into the south Stand to have my ticket checked. Then checked on the way up to the block, am just waiting for someone sat in my seat asking to see if i have a ticket next.

The second checks carried out last month revealed a number of fans wrongly using consession tickets. Which were conficated.

There's a problem with fans using any South ticket to get through the turnstiles then trying to bunk in with RF.

There are two seats next to me that have been empty for every game this season. Either a couple of people died before the first match, or they are standing somewhere else.

Also, at the Burnley game I saw a lot of people come up the stairs by RF holding walk-up tickets, which obviously can't be for those blocks as they are ST only; the stewards turned them all away.

seems if you support and english team you cant group together, but a foreign team in an english stadium can.if you seen bayern at man city the other night they were all bunched at the front with loads of empty spaces at the back

@fmttmadmin Hi Rob, did anything come of the meeting at the end of March to look at the GRFZ please?
Yes - waiting to get minutes agreed to report - but yes it looks likely. Not sure if for season cards or match by match - they are actually testing this out at present.
Kids starting out in the GRFZ have a really high percentage chance of continuing as Boro season card holders after they have left the area. With it being over a decade old now they now have the stats to show just how successful it is in nurturing longterm Boro fans.

Thanks Rob, looking forward to finding out more.

Still awaiting for notes to be passed as agreed by club - I guess they have been preoccupied by matters on the pitch.
