Our Mam received an email from Sainsburys to say that she was a vulnerable customer so was a priority as an online customer. Tried booking delivery for her but all full so have booked click and collect instead. I have never used this before and there doesn’t seem to be much info on their website. Can anybody help? Do you need to go into the store or is there another entrance? I will be using the one in Cannon Park.

Just an update on this. Went into town this morning to Sainsburys. Entered the carpark but it was initially not obvious where to go. Noticed a Sainsburys van in the middle of the carpark so after driving round I popped over to it. There was a canny old fella there and he told me that this was the “Click and collect” area. I was the only one there. He brought out the shopping in trays. They were bagged up due to the virus. Loaded the car and drove off. Took me five minutes. There was a large queue trying to get in store so saved me a lot of time!

it's a great service, however we just cannot get a slot booked (Tesco) and I've looked out as far as 29th April. we're fine using local shops, but you cant quite get everything you need (want)

Yes, I know. I could only get it as Sainsburys sent an email to our Mam saying she was a special case due to her age.

yep, my Mum's got the same email from Sainsbury's, but they're getting a delivery slot OK rather than C&C
