Sunderland tickets

From experience of Sunderland away numerous times our fans are just as bad, the game brings out some vile people on both sides
But they are not though not once have we sang en masse about their local issues.

That’s a fallacy.

Jimmy Savile, he's one of your own to Leeds fans is one I remember off the top of my head.
Yes a dead infamous celebrity that the whole country now vilifies.

it’s bad but it not on the same scale as the vile stuff these say

As I same my Mary bell, the care home scandal in sunlun, do we sing about those ???

It makes it worse given the back ground of these false slurs snd how they originated but I won’t go into that here
As one “doctor” ( now struck off) was from
Newcastle the other from sunlun.

It’s shocking it’s sickening and anyone condoning or making light of it is just as bad.

People went through because of that bitch and her crony.

Tom Davis was from
Sunlun as well.

Are you really going there, with a "who has the most peado's from their town" thread?

I know when it comes to Sunderland and Newcastle you take leave of your senses, but come on, can you not accept that all 3 clubs have their fair share of scum, including us.

I dont think anyone is making light, or condoning it either, more pointing out we aren't whiter than white ourselves.

I didn’t say that

Read what I said.
Why start bringing random radio DJ's into it, almost like you're trying to slur the name of the city of Sunderland because you dont' like their football fans.

David Smith posted on this forum, I'd hope to god we all don't get lumped in with him because of which town we both come from.

I know when it comes to Sunderland and Newcastle you take leave of your senses, but
I’ve explained my position and the reason for it there will be people at the ground that lived through this ****.

It’s abhorrent and it should be stamped out.

Kick em all of you have too.

Mr E has said he finds it so bad he won’t attend snd he’s not alone that sums it up.

I dont think anyone is claiming anything else than it's abhorrent.

Care to explain then why if you're simply saying it's abhorrent, and should be stamped out, then you feel the need to throw in the name of a local radio DJ who happens to come from Sunderland but (as far as I know) had nothing to do with the original case and the origin of the chants ?

The point I was making is the opposite we have plenty of things to chant but we don’t as unlike the above comment we are not all the same.

It’s abhorrent and the police should act.

Sorry for trying to defend my home town and it’s besmirched reputation on a Middlesbrough fc message board I should have known better.

But you're literally arguing with Middlesbrough fans, on a Middlesbrough messageboard, most of whom are saying the same thing as you - that it's out of order except some of us are also pointing out that Boro fans are not whiter than white.

Not sure if I'll be going to the game TBH

At a game a few years back FAC night match I witnessed an older mackem bloke simulating next with a younger fan & vowed I wouldn't go back to a Boro Sunderland game, dont want to walk to the ground & then sit listening to those vile chants fron those cretins
Afternoon, Erimus, fully understand and share your sentiments- and it is a crying shame. I don’t know about you but you reach a certain age and you don’t want to be in such an environment.

Going to Reading on Saturday- no problems normally there. Surprised to get a ticket today to be honest!
