We're not even halfway through the season, so let's see where we are in five games time. Then after January, then in May. 8 points can be wiped out in a week in this division.

This is the first game they’ve won since 26th Oct against bloody Stoke, hardly a resurgence and they’ve got a paper thin squad. I don’t think they’ll finish the season ahead of us.

Not only that, Stoke are the first team they’ve beaten out of the bottom 7 since they beat us. They’ve been bang average at best since the end of September.
That’s great consistency, hopefully they can keep it up.
Honestly who really cares, it wouldn't matter if we where top of the league right now all that matters is where we finish on the final day of the season.
Don't worry about other teams enjoy the ride and focus only us and the next game.

I'm not sure there are many people who dislike Sunderland more than myself, however potentially being 8 points ahead of us on Tuesday despite are good form and their atrocious form is disheartening.
