Sunderland Away Ticket Info

220 is some going mind. Practically every game over the past few seasons isn't it?
Given it only includes points for one and half seasons, it's basically every single game for a 70 point ST holder. 80 point ST holders could miss 10 away games over the same period to hit the same points.

Here’s me able too remember when you lot never bothered to turn up at Roker how times change 🤷
Funny guy...
I remember being at Roker when you lot never bothered to turn up at Roker either.
19,006 at Roker in April 1982. 21,019 at Ayresome.
20,541at Roker in Oct 1985. 19,701 at Ayresome
15,770 at Roker in Aug 1987. League Cup.
21,569 at Roker in Aug 1989. 17,698 at Ayresome
25,093 at Roker in Apr 1992. 19,424 at Ayresome
16,473 at Roker in Jan 1994. 12,772 at Ayresome
16,501 at Roker in Mar 1995. 19,578 for return at Ayresome.
20,841 at Roker in Oct 86 in the PL. 30,106 at Riverside for the return.

You have big crowds at SOS, yet generate less money from them.
You'd have a bigger crowd against us if you let in who wanted to come from Boro.

That’s where the system fails for me.

Gold card and chairman’s drink card holders will always have a big advantage over regular season card holders with no way of regular season card holders achieving either status.

Agree. Chairman/gold card status should be changed to 10+ years plus - or something to that affect to allow newer fans the chance to obtain the same priority points. My 9 and 11 year old son go to far more games than my Dad but have less points and have to go to approx 5 more away games a season to level it up.

I think when fans get 20 years unbroken season ticket holder stage, they should qualify for a gold card.
This was the stage original gold cards were issued, which makes it fair for younger supporters who can't currently get one.

Sunderland Echo says 'It could be that both clubs have agreed on a reduced away ticket allocation for the fixture.' I wouldn't be that surprised.

I would be very surprised. Why would Boro agree to that?
Here's the Echo article
Call me a cynic but I can see both clubs and constabularies coming to an informal agreement to reduce away tickets and therefore policing costs. Police are happy, Boro fans blame SAFC and vice-versa for return fixture. Clubs don't care about what away fans think.

I don't get that really. I'm sure Carrick and Gibson would both like as many Boro fans at SoL as possible. Why wouldn't they?

Depends on police advice. Both clubs will want to keep their respective constabularies onside. The clubs could obviously increase gate revenue for one game but this could result in higher policing costs in the future if the police feel the clubs aren't responding to informal guidance.
