Sunday lunch recommendation - around A19

We're travelling back next week Stockton-Sheffield via A19 and were looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch.

Probably around 9-10 of us, not too expensive if possible (my suggestion of Chadwick's was too pricey apparently).

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

A carvery place would be a good shout. With those numbers it will definitely be advisable to book on a Sunday thought to avoid disappointment.

All easily accessable from the A19 / A174 turn off

The Blue Bell, Acklam
The Fox Covert, Ingleby
The Falcon, Hilton
The Crown, Kirklevington
Tomahawk, Acklam or Potto
The Manor House, old Yorkshire Dragoon.

Nice one, cheers - will check them out. Been years since I've been anywhere round there to eat.

Me and my wife go to the Cat and Bagpipes at East Harsley now and again. Carvery, not posh, £7 per person, sweet £3. Only open 12 till 2.

Thanks for the recommendations, we've gone with the Masham at Hartburn as my wife's family live that way.

Haven't been for years but it was always good previously.
