Sulc,strelec & Ings inbound?

I just don't know how we could keep Sulc, Strelec, azaz, whittaker, Mcgree, Conway, and Ings all happy...

I think it is a bit unrealistic to expect multiple 5m + players sat on the bench in the Championship.

Conway, Forss, and one other up top. Ideally players that can mix and match the 10 and 9 positions.
We need starters and finishers most games and Azaz and McGree are already out injured I suppose. I think the fact we didn't have anyone Carrick seemed to trust on the bench, and a general lack of goal threat from the likes of Forss/Burgzorg etc from the bench had quite a negative effect on both results and resting the first choice player in games.

We had two strikers last season and it wasn't enough, like you say a mixture of styles / attributes would be good to mix it up if we want to as well.

Four players for two starting positions doesn't seem too excessive, Whittaker is more of a forward and McGree and Sulc seem a bit more of a midfield style players too, so could be utilised differently.

7 players to cover 3 positions is fine.
Genuine competition for places is good and having quality players to rotate with helps keep the whole squad fresh. You can expect that at least one of those players will be unfit at all times and tghere'll be times where there's 2 or 3 of them unfit.

It does leave us with a lot of surplus like.
Hamilton
Gilbert
Forss
Silvera
Burgzorg
Unless they are going to be used elsewhere.

I do think it's likely to be Ings OR Strelec OR another no9. Rather than2 x No9s. We'll probably use Burgzorg or Forss as our 3rd no9. That will be down to budget though.

Hamilton will be loaned to a mid leagie one side
Gilbert will be sold probably league one
Forss will likely be sold, hasn't been the same player since his last injury and in last year of contract
Silvera sold to scotland
Bergzorg might have a place, if he is happy at being a bit part player

I'd be happy enough with it. But it's a lot to do.
My gut feel is Forss stays until his contract runs out next season.
We'll stick with Burgzorg.
I think you could be right and Silvera + Gilbert could be sold. But more likely loaned out until their contracts expire next season.
Hamilton will certainly be loaned out.

Silvera with be back up LWB.. Burgzorg is better than people make out.. Gilbert will be off and Hamilton probably needs a loan abroad.

Currently seems to be….signing Brittain, possibly Morris’s mate, Danny Ings and maybe an expensive midfielder if HH goes. At the moment, maybe give Sonny & Marcus a blast up top? Reckon we’ll get a couple in before the Swans game…probably Morris’s mate and a reserve centre forward, assuming Brittain’s done?
