... All had an impact on the game, more or less.

- Lath picked up his goal and did well position wise again I thought. Killed the game effectively.
- Forss involved in the goal, and really should have had a goal himself (or another assist for me - should have squared it to LL)

Even Crooks and Rogers, who were late appearances were involved straight away offensively. I think it was Crooks to Rogers for his one on one which was saved, and then Crooksy did a nice twinkle toes dribble on the byline towards there goal to win another corner.

I know people will say it was a good time for our offensive subs to come on, with Cardiff chasing the game, but I thought it was really important period as we were just starting to sit back too much and invite them on to us.

The subs helped take the pressure off the defence and flip it back onto their backline for a bit.

Really happy with how that worked, full and effective use of the squad last night (y)

I think we are now starting to see the value of the squad built. The team and bench last night set us up perfectly for Sunderland I thought. Everyone has minutes and everyone has had a rest.

I read some of the posts on here pre-match and it was all doom and gloom. I had to go and sit and hold poor dontheking's hand prior to kick off, he was past himself.

Great to see the players togetherness and in particular Tommy Smith went straight to engel when he set the goal up with engel letting out an almighty roar of relief.

Squads starting to knit back together with only a few injuries, hopefully we can add Clarke and Obrien back into the available squad post the international break.

I though Barlaser was excellent in his turn over of the ball an composure in keeping possession and always moving forward.

Deal Fry and Paddy were excellent together and really led by example IMO, great to keep a clean sheet again.

Really good week, let's continue to take it one game at a time as we owe Sunderland a game as we just didn't turn up last year.

P.S - I hope Riley is OK he just seemed to pull up before he went off
