Last season I connected my laptop via an hdmi cable to the tv and watched that way but tbh the picture was ***** on the tv but fine on the laptop...............I dont think so!
I tried for the last couple of games last season and I couldnt find the cast icon on the player on my phone, so gave up and watched it on my PC instead.
Maybe you can access the MFC site through the browser on the TV and watch them that way?

I did the same and found the picture and quality was spot on.
Will do that again on Friday
To watch it on the tele via the HDMI cable from laptop is it literally just a case of putting it in and then putting it on the HDMI channel?
Exactly. And it will mirror your laptop screen onto the tv.
Good life adviceAgree that HDMI cable is the best way to go. Decent picture and sound.
Tried mirroring the screen and it wasn't running smoothly at all.
Also, if anyone is going to mirror phone screen, make sure you disable notifications to protect against uncomfortable group message notifications dropping you in bother with the mrs. Or any other notifications that might get you into bother
Last season I used the MFC app on my Samsung tablet and just screen shared it to the TV, worked a treat.
VIa a Samsung app or Chromecast?
I can cast from my phone to the tv with the chromecast and picture is way better than connecting laptop via hdmi - its a decent hdmi cable?? Perhaps theres a setting on the laptop to adjust?
Its a Samsung - the browser is the most user unfriendly piece of kit I've ever used, and on par with Google for wanting to know every bit of information about you it can so it went the journey about two days after getting the TVIf you have a smart TV you should be able to access the club website via the Internet browser. It worked well during lockdown (I was surprised)
