I've been emailing himThe journalist David Conn is very hot on police-fan “relationships” such as this. May be worth sharing with him. Active on Twitter.
Is currently very vocal on the shenanigans at the champions league final, and has been for many years on Hilsborough.
I think a complete stay away would send the right messsge. But if everyone doesn’t buy into it.. then it just looks like our support is crap.Boycotte the stoke away game on 17th August?
They'll be going on sale fairly soon though.
Surely a better response is taking 3,000 and telling Staffs police to do oneI think a complete stay away would send the right messsge. But if everyone doesn’t buy into it.. then it just looks like our support is crap.
Any other type of protest will just be seen as antagonistic.
Yes definitely. Bad experience.Boycotte the stoke away game on 17th August?

If you read the report Cleveland police were expecting disorder and so Staffordshire police deemed it high risk. how and why Cleveland police deemed trouble likely to occur we will never know. Football intelligence is a grey world they use secrecy laws to hide themselves from any form of scrutiny. Unfortunately it seems Staffordshire police like so many before tried to justify a large police presence by antagonising and instagating confrontation with Boro fans. Before the game the police were looking/expecting something. When I got off the train they were speaking to everyone coming out of the station. Anyone with a Teesside accent was being told that we were not to go to the city centre. They were harassing some young lads about what they were doing, why they were there early. I just told the lads to walk away.
Or bring a black pepper mill and shake it the direction of the cowardly copsSurely a better response is taking 3,000 and telling Staffs police to do one
The report is back from my complaint to Staffordshire Police, and I'm so angry I'm literally shaking.
They held us back but didn't communicate it. When everyone filled the concourse, the police opened the doors to prevent a crush, then immediately radioed to their colleagues that we'd "burst through". It never ****ing stops, does it?
They've found the organisation "unacceptable" but let off the officer who sprayed the pepper spray. If I've got the upload to work then the full report is here: https://we.tl/t-3PcVNcqyYC
This still isn't over.
It was a weighty file - shared through We Transfer - but time has expired on it now.Tried viewing the report, not working for me?
