Sthmptn hme tkts avail..suppts wth 2+ Prty Pts able to purch up to 3 addl tcks per a/c

Looks like a fair few STH’s haven’t taken up their seats. All of the South was blocked off earlier barring a few seats

Really surprised how slow these have sold, not sure if it's down to the sh1tsh0w, or just lesser demand, but I expected these to sell out pretty quickly yesterday when they opened up to 10+ PP

The GRFZ needs ending.
EVERY match there are empty seats and lots of them.
Weekday night matches, televised weekend matches, Bank Holiday matches, School Holiday matches.
Now they won’t even buy their seat at discounted rates to give our biggest match if the season so far.

The club should end the SC of those who repeatedly don’t attend. There are an awful lot.

It'll be entirely down to the ***show of organisation.

Needlessly complicated way of selling tickets that has locked so many people out.

You can point to people make mistakes in their own purchasing for some, but it's a fault of the system that thousands of people are being confused by it.

Then there's the genuine technical issues they've been having on top of it.

People who buy walk ups at the ticket office don't get asked who is using the tickets and they don't allocate them to a person unless the buyer specifically asks. That definitely needs resolving so this doesn't happen again as clearly a lot of people don't understand this.
It happened last time we were in the play-offs as well by the way and nothing was done.

I know this has been a gripe of yours for a while. I'm really surprised seeing those gaps in that area now. Backs up your point.
It does feel like we should fall in line with many other Championship clubs and just have a stadium wide child concession price that probably isn't as cheap as GRFZ but cheaper than the current concession prices in some of the other stands.

Someone buying a free SC, or hugely discounted SC versus normal kids SC prices, then not going to the game but locking that seat up, does the club absolutely no good.
Fix the Very young Kids SC prices stadium wide and fix the Match Day premiums especially for kids, and the pricing policy will be vastly improved.
The GRFZ is an idealistic concept that definitely is not working.

What’s the alternative though?

Hike up the children’s prices?

You can get rid of GRFZ but you’d need to replace it with something that entices children. Or, as in my case, adults buying season tickets for their children when they are babies. (Who are now passionate Boro fans despite not growing up in Teesside).

If you want kids to buy season tickets you’re always going to have some empty seats on school nights. It’s not as if the stadium is at capacity every match but for a few empty seats in the GRFZ. All GRFZ does is mean you have a few more empty seats in a concentrated area.
