Steve Turner PCC

The political damage has been done - the wording in Parliament made it front page news across the media outlets.

and his daft suggestion that he would take the MP to court for libel, just made it worse, as it adds to the charge that his judgement is poor, and he threatens a defence with lies.

wonder how many times he has done that before?

Sadly this has been known about in political circles for over a year and its only now its come out. The favourable to the Tory press had no interest and for some reason Labour sat on it until after the election.
but used it to maximum effect.

blokes a laughing stock now - his credibility is shot - a political leper - i can hear the bell ringing "unclean, unclean, unclean "

Would there have been a need to disclose this to any subsequent employers? Especially if you're in the same line of retail work?

Nothing on this for a few days....not sure what McDonald hoped to achieve if he doesn't keep this in the news
Of course Turner should go, but we know he won't resign. He said he wouldn't - and unlike his denial of the incident we know that he is actually being honest on that

What else can they do? realistically those that voted for him will still support him because he isn't labour, short of him murdering a child or something.

Yes I agree
Labour are unpopular with manyon Teesside currently (came 3rd in a by-election a week or so ago that they'd won last time round), so Turner will have the anti-Labour support
