Steve Cooper

If the money is right he will come. Unless Bournemouth intervene of course.
The money won’t be right, and looking at the summer we have no real intention to spend either. The WBA job will soon be available that’s probably far more attractive than us

What is so flippin attractive about deck-chair land Bournemouth for goodness sake?!!
Premier league, could champo squad and parachute paymnets, so as burnley to wilder, as Boro fans we need to be realistic of where we are now as a club, we are not an attractive prem team and have no right to suggest as much. We are a champo team who at present is under performing so manager will be off that ilk, hence why I think edwards will get it due to club hieracy running the club.

Sean dyche would get us out the league and keep us in the prem, like him or loathe him surely you would rsther be in there compeyeing then play well, having a run in the cup but missing out on the playoffs....?

To say as fans we wouldnt want Dyche want do you think we are, we would be lucky to attrack such a manager, we will be looking at Nigel Cloughs, edwards etc which will ultimately take you to league 1.

We have tried every manager in the last few years with highs and lows for all but the remaining factor is still the people at the helm and all managers leave stating similar things with respect to recruitment......

Hello sir.
My comment was made tongue-in-cheek.

I dont know if this counts for anything...but after 43 seasons + of following the boys in red.......we all get used to hearing the same old record

Cooper won’t fancy us, look at the loans he had at Forest last season, all good, promising players. He also had the knowledge that they had a wealthy chairman who would back him in the Premier league.

What’s he got if he comes here, a middling Championship squad and a Chairman who no longer seems able to deliver on his promises and is no longer a big fish.

Whatever went on with Wilder he’d have to have been a miracle worker to get promoted with this squad.

There seems to be something fundamentally wrong at the club, players who look the part at other clubs are bang average when they come here. Scott had a track record of finding great signings for other clubs, he doesn’t seem to be able to pick a player for us. Wilder has a track record of success but couldn’t deliver here and had his head turned by a club with known money troubles.

We keep coming back to the same position, manager after manager.

I'm sure we'll have a good idea already of whether he'd be interested, he's on the cusp of going and Forest have been actively speaking to potential replacements since they lost 3-2 to Bournemouth.

It's actuality a little surprising that he hasn't been sacked already, given the noise around it.

They won't sack him until they have the replacement lined up is my guess - but sack him they will.

I agree and it seems that it could happen as soon as the weekend.

I think he might wait until the summer before taking his next job though, didn't he leave Swansea without a job lined up? He strikes me as someone who is prepared to wait for the right opportunity and I'm not sure he sees that as boro.
