Stephen Graham to star in COVID drama

I know there's a lot of Stephen Graham fans on here after reading the threads about BBC's Time. He's to star in Channel 4 drama that focuses on a care home during the outbreak of COVID in the UK.

Looking forward to this. Graham is one of few actors who I could see doing a drama like this justice.

Funny isn't but I honestly don't think I'm ready to watch anything Covid related, and won't be for a while. I guess it'll be a while till its released and I'm a huge fan of Jack Thorne, I just can't bring myself to watch. Is it just me?

No, I had the same thoughts when watching some of the BBC documentaries on it this year. I've only just recently watched Contagion...

If it weren't for Graham I'd probably give it a miss.

Yes, it's a good question isn't it? I'm finding myself, still, turning away from news reports re Covid... certainly the rolling news aspect of it anyway.
 
I think it's maybe a little early for covid dramas. It's still effecting people and many have lost loved ones so maybe a bit 'raw'.

That said Graham is outstanding in everything he does. Hopefully it's done 'tastefully' and maybe highlights the issues care homes had in the early days. It did seem a bit like 'they are old' so it's fine😕

I think that's exactly what it will be, tasteful.
