It was a superb save because there were two strikers near him - so to save it at full stretch and get it well away from danger was not easy.

Should've done better with the goal last night but made some great saves later on. You aren't going to get a perfect keeper at this level and he offers more with his playing out than you would usually get at this level and that allows us to play the way we play. I have no complaints about him being in goal.

Just watched the highlights again. 2 points to make. Steffen could do nothing more than he did with their goal. He made himself big, with his legs open. It was a cool finish. Keepers, by and large are not expected to save 1 on 1's, are they?

Its interesting that the penalty shout is so disputed on here. Had there been VAR both penalties would have been given, I think.
