Starmers house

I have to admit my gut instinct was right wing terrorism after the first post - but wanted to hope otherwise. The arrest makes this seem like it was done deliberately
The arrest has? It would have to unbelievably coincidental for there to be 2 fires at separate homes owned by the PM. Surely that was suspicious enough?

The article linked in the first post originally only mentioned one
But that seemed suspicious anyway given who owns the property
Of course it is being celebrated on social media by many - the society we have become
Be interesting to see if Farage has any criticism of these incidents

Given Starmer’s musings recently I’ll be interested in the motive.

In normal times I’d be guessing at a right wing nut job but I wouldn’t be totally surprised if it was someone more moderate..

Since when was setting fire to someone's house moderate?
I don’t think setting fire to someone’s house is moderate behaviour.

I think there is a chance whoever done it has more moderate political views than ‘right wing’

Anyone who sets fire to someone's house because they disagree with their political views isn't moderate

Two instances of arson endangering life.
Yeah, let's have a laugh and joke about it at Starmer's expense.
Interesting. Would you have said that had it been Trump ? There are 20 " Characters " on here who would have said " Pity he wasnt in the house " had it been Trump. Followed by another 20 sticking their thumbs up with laughter emoiis and likes.

Moderate?
I don’t think moderate people indulge in arson for political motives

Nope - was talking about more moderate political views

I should know btw - I thought of and authored the words and knew exactly what I meant.

You are just guessing
Well what you thought and what you wrote don’t match
How can a person with moderate political views engage in arson as a political act?

That’s what you did say
"moderate" is a well used expression to mean political views that aren't at either end of the left/right spectrum.

He clearly did not mean that the person who did this was acting "moderately". He was using the word in an entirely different context, which was really clear to me.

But appreciate if you're not particularly politically engaged you might be unaware of the first meaning.
