Starmer should tell the teachers to strike

I think they will do. I thought I saw on the news that kids are supposed to wear masks in class when they go back. If that's true then teachers surely will.

The person who started thread said about a strike, that's what I said is ridiculous.
Teachers should of definitely been vaccinated at the start, I fully agree with that.
Just don't like KS very much like I didn't like JC but didn't like him for different reasons.
The Labour Party unfortunately have not had a good leader for while

I know and I think it’s a bit strange.
Labour haven’t been in government for over 10 years but seem to be blamed for a lot including Tory underperformance.
I can’t quite square that circle.

Kier Starmer is clearly being his own man and should not get into the politics of the 70's and calling for strike action. Why? Because first, it's not his place to do so and, second he's 'new. new labour'. What that is, we will see when things get back to some sort of normality. The problem is, it won't be normal times and too many are going to be left behind.
Lets face it folks, there are many things that need to change, something really has to and the key to is public works/expenditure.

From what age?
Secondary school... so 11+ I guess. (I did originally think it said teenagers (which would be year 9 up, but makes more sense if it's year 7 onwards really).

My view would be it’s because Labour are not offering up an alternative vision - what is their manifesto - what would they do if they got in charge - I don’t think anybody knows, I don’t even think they know. All they seem capable of is attacking and criticising the current gvt at every turn but at some point they need tell us what they are about if they are to have any chance of getting into power.
