Starlink satellite train

Could not see any of them due to being too light at 2107. Saw one heading North and another heading South obviously not them but that was it.

Yes it was not clear at all in the end. Like the poster above I saw two satellites individually one south - north and one west to east.
I do have an advantage over most people in that living on the site of Ayresome Park I only have to think about the names of the stands to remember which way is East, West, North and South.

I saw them last night, but not as clearly as Mon night. I was actually out watching the meteor shower but didn't see anything in that direction

crazy to think that while we see a string of 28 starlink satellites now, there are going to be 12,000 up there in 5 years time. That will be just a constant string moving across the night sky surely?

What's the increase in satellites going to transmit?

Which direction is Holgate?

Taken from Wiki

Starlink is a satellite constellation being constructed by American company SpaceX to provide satellite Internet access. The constellation will consist of thousands of mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) , working in combination with ground transceivers. SpaceX also plans to sell some of the satellites for military, scientific, or exploratory purposes.

Holgate was west. The old main stand was the North Stand - confusing for all of us that now sit behind the goal in the Riverside's North Stand.
