My son is going over to the Caribbean for a holiday and is also going to watch a couple of the England cricket games whilst there. I wanted to give them some money but didn't realise the different Islands have different currencies. I believe he is going to St Lucia first which is the East Carribean Dollar and then to Barbados which is the Barbados Dollar. I was reading that you can spend US Dollars on the Islands but get your change in local currency. I take it I am better off buying them US Dollars.
